Holodamor: Ukrainian Holocaust

Ok i have promised this one a while ago but i have never sat behind a computer to type it. These are TRUE stories about holodamor.

But first let me get in to a little backround, holadamor was in the years 1932-33, it was caused by lenin's belshoviky party. When russia had their revolution in 1917 first one in february were they threw off the king second in october, when lenin came to power, well lenin kept taking over ukraine but they wouldn't give in they fought him off 2 or more times(i think), but he got a grip on ukraine after all. The ukrainian people would never give in to his policies, mostly to his collectionist policies, well when stalin came to power he used a technic that would kill the fighting spirit of ukraine, he would starve them to submission if not death, this technic was used once in 1921 but then the press and everybody knew about it. It is said that even america helped them then, but this time was was different it was forbidden to talk about what was happening not in the papers not anywhere.

How They Did It

There technic was simple: put an unreachable amount of product that "has to be given to the people" and force everybody to give up there last piece of grain, and the people that would refuse, were taken off to sibir, northern russia, they were called coorcooly. The fact is millions of ukrainians died in 1932-33.

Here Are 3 local stories my grandma told me

First one goes about a woman who lived with her kids on a field, by the woods, one day a man came from the woods basically fell on her door step and died. She came to the village hall and told them and asked if they can bury him after 2, 3 days no one came so she with here kids buried him herself

the next one is more tragic and happen exactly were we live now, at the end of the village, and after one mans mom died like after a while he either went crazy or hunger took the best of him but he killed his sister and was eating her, he got caught when he went to the neigbors house asked her to cook him a soup because he had nowhere to cook it this lady said when she looked in see saw an arm of a human, his sister.

The last one takes place in a village close to the city, in the town hall of a village where my grandma's dad worked no one knows exactly what happened but people brought in a woman, they said she had gone crazy too, well the people that brought her in brought in a bag with the body parts of children, her children. She had killed her own children, chopped them up and even salted the body parts in order to perseve them.

So those were tough years to live trough, but we did. These years were named holadamor which translates into sea of hunger

A ukrainian's view: obama and mosque

Forgive me for the random post but I just had to post this Obama is NOT a real American. For a real American would never let a morgue be built, let alone a couple of blocks away from ground zero, but anywhere else on US soil after 9/11. Hell I'm a ukrainian myself and I'm against it, for living in America has showed me what it is to be a patriot, And I respect them for it.

Okay back to the subject, Obama said this act is protected by the first amendment, which gives people the freedom of speech and the freedom of religion. The fact is, is that islam doesn't even fall under being a religion, as I read on the net:"Islam is not a religion. It is a worldwide political movement meant on domination"

I have also read an interesting post about the percentage of muslims in a country and how the more there is the more pressure they put on the goverment and on the people. So Islam is the furthest thing from a religion therefore shouldn't be supported by the first amendment, as obama said, I have no idea what he and his administration are thinking, but to build a mosque by ground zero, is like building a church in Kabul, If the're not doing it, why should we?

Criticism for mr. president

ukraine news blog has a good post about ukrainian president and how the west is criticizing him read it by clicking on the link above.
So if you agree with what i said on the blog and have something to add, add it there and if you are interested in my opinion add it here I'd be happy to start a conversation. If you don't know my opinion already I am against what the 'president' is doing to ukraine(turning it to a dictatorship) I am for the orange revolution, am for democracy in Ukraine, What the previous president (v. Yushenko) did for Ukraine is better than anything this "president" can and will do.
For there is nothing to say: he already is bringing ukraine back to the Kuchma era. Forbidding freedom of speech, turning the goverment type back to a presidental-parliamental goverment type, giving him more power of course, passing laws that make it harder for the opposition to make it to parliament next oct. 13 elections I will be able to vote then and I'll vote for any one but the party of regions and I will get as much people not to vote for them, because that is too much power.
All in all read that article and think will he be the best choice for ukraine.

The Opposition is calling people to appeal in court

Ok with the gas prices up goverment is starting to buzz, block Ulia Temoshenko(But or Byut) is calling every ukrainian citizen to go to Shevchenkivsky District Court and appeal as a 3rd party.

"The RosUkrEnergo Company secretly filed an appeal at Kyiv Shevchenkivsky District Court on the enforcement of a ruling by Stockholm Arbitration Court obliging Naftogaz Ukrainy to return 11 billion cubic meters of gas to it," serhey Vlasenko,a deputy of byut, said at a press conference in Kyiv on Thursday.

"We are forced to state that the government, without informing from the public, decided to fulfill the ruling of the Stockholm Arbitration Court in favor of RosUkrEnergo," he said.

He also stated that they already have 10 appeals and that the text of this appeal had been posted on Tymoshenko's official Web site. so while they set things out in court the people of ukraine are forced to pay 50% more on their monthly gas bill with winter coming all they can say is hurry up.

The fact is, is that with increased gas prices ukraine will see increased inflation, as was stated by someone, can't remember who, a while back.

skeletons in the presidents closet?

I just read in the news today about some more corruption in the news today wow the raise in gas price is not because the IMF credit ukraine took but because the goverment and rosukrenergy have a corrupt deal but that ain't all the goverment is trying to keep the opposition quiet for they got a lot to say. For the president promised that the price of gas won't rise and what do we have a 50% increase in price.

"Under such conditions, it is important for the government to silence the opposition, whichin fact has undertaken the function of bringing truth to citizens about the real state inthe country," the press service reported.

The People's Committee to Protect Ukraine also claimed that a search had been conducted at Cherkasy regional headquarters of the Batkivschyna Party.

"The reason for the search was an allegedly anonymous 'bomb threat call.' Of course, the law enforcement agencies found no explosive devices. Instead, the police, without any sanctions and resolutions, searched for and seized leaflets in which the truth about the rise in gas price from August 1 was told and which contained explanations that funds of citizens collected through the rise in gas price as a result of corrupt agreements between RosUkrEnergo and the government, would be used to settle accounts with RosUkrEnergo, ” reads the statement.

what do you have to say to that? I got it were i read it. That explains a lot huh? So what kind of president do we have? I would never vote for him ever. He is an evil person that does not care for his country.

my opinion on IMF fund and were the money should go

this is a comment I posted recently on a news post that was talking about IMF credit ukraine took I though hell I'm gonna post it here its my opinion if you know any better idea on how ukraine can spend that money add it as a comment
here.

On my opinion the goverment should invest the IMF money in agriculture for ukraine as a developing country should export crops plus yanokovich promised to increase the way of life in ukraine but just increasing minium wage but doing that would just lead to more inflation so what i would propose is putting money in agriculture, in goverment farms this would increase competition and eventually bring down cost on basic needs also this would increase demand for work in the country which would decrease migrations to cities and increase population in the country bad population in all because on my opinion people that live in the country are more likely to have kids. So this would solve ukrainian population problem and increase potentual work force also this would increase demand for agricultural vehicles and were there is demand there is always competition and with competinn people try to make their stuff better and maybe they can make them able to export which would also increase the economy. But who am I to propose stuff? just a underage teen trying to find his way in life.
